At Jones Edmunds, Knowledge is one of our three core values, and as such, we make the pursuit of professional development and continuing education a top priority. Having our staff advance in their fields by obtaining a professional registration is a key milestone in their careers and provides opportunities for them to develop leadership and project management skills. Jones Edmunds strongly encourages staff to become registered professionals and as a result the majority of our people are registered professionals in their field.
Jones Edmunds understands the importance of training and giving employees the opportunity to grow. That is why we created Jones Edmunds University, a mentoring program that gives employees the opportunity to receive cross-training and well-rounded professional development. Our University consists of customized and comprehensive training programs including:

- Human Resources
- Technical Training
Our programs provide continuing education credits from the Florida Board of Professional Engineers to maintain professional licenses and registrations and we have also developed a Leadership Development Program which boosts skills and cultivates the talents of our future leaders.
Jones Edmunds received the 2014 FICE Professional Development Award for best “industry model” in professional development, continuing education, and encouraging our staff to participate in professional/technical societies and civic activities.
