                                        Polk County

Jones Edmunds was selected by the Polk County Board of County Commissioners for their  North Central Landfill Class I Phase III Gas Collection and Control System Operation, Maintenance, Repair, and Management Services contract. Ultimately, our Winter Haven office in Polk County made the difference in securing this win. “The investment that we made in the Polk County office won us at least $1,000,000 of work over the next 5 years,” said Dennis Davis, Senior Department Manager. Thanks to the dedication and resolve of our staff to market existing and potential clients, we have had two big wins over the past 2 weeks – this project and the Winter Haven Wastewater Treatment Plant No. 3 Reclaimed Water Pumping Station and Pipeline. Congratulations to everyone involved in these pursuits.

                            Siemens and City of Clearwater

Jones Edmunds will provide engineering services for the design and construction of various projects under a Siemens Performance Contract with City of Clearwater. As an Energy Services Company, Siemens develops, installs, and arranges financing for projects designed to improve the energy efficiency and maintenance costs for facilities and guarantees the annual savings. We teamed with Siemens to perform energy audits on the City’s three waste reclamation facilities, and the final energy audit accepted by the City identified over $10,000,000 of capital improvement projects. This new contract will implement these recommended projects, including developing alternative energy by producing electricity from cogenerating biogas. The project financing is paid for based on the annual energy and operational savings realized by the City.
