Supporting your health

 

Health Insurance

Your health is important to us.  As an employee, you can choose to enroll in either the PPO or the HMO plan, and each plan is paired with a pharmacy program.

 

Dental Insurance

You may also choose to receive coverage for dental work.  Coverage includes preventive maintenance, 100% paid by the plan, as well as minor and major care.

 

Employee-Assistance Program

Free, confidential consultation and referral services for emotional wellness, work and career issues, relationships, financial and legal matters, parenting and dependent care, and retirement planning are available to all employees.  


Building your financial security

 

401(k) Plan

You may choose to withhold a portion of your paycheck on a “tax-deferred” basis to participate in the Company’s 401(k) plan.  The matching program allows participating employees to have the Company contribute money into their account, based on a percentage of the withheld contribution.

 

Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

You may reduce your taxable income by moving some of your pre-tax pay to an account for certain healthcare and dependent (child) care expenses.  You may choose to contribute to a medical FSA or a dependent care FSA.

Life Insurance

As a way to ensure that your family is taken care of, we offer fully-funded life insurance for the employee’s life and for accidental death & dismemberment.   You may purchase additional life insurance for yourself, spouse, or child.

 

Disability Insurance

When you join Jones Edmunds, you will be offered short- and long-term disability.  The short-term coverage is fully funded by Jones Edmunds.  The Company pays 50% of the enrollment premium for long-term disability.

Holidays

We encourage you to enjoy the holidays.  All benefits-eligible employees will be compensated for seven holidays the Company observes: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

 

Rewarding you for your development and achievement

 

Tuition Reimbursement

The Company encourages you to advance your knowledge in job-related areas by attending university classes and other training sessions.  The cost of tuition, lab fees, and required textbooks will be reimbursed to benefits-eligible employees according to Company guidelines.

 

Publishing Incentive Program

We encourage you to make your work known in your profession.  If you publish or present technical papers within your profession, you may be eligible for a cash bonus.

Every Jones Edmunds employee contributes to our success.  This fact is reflected by the Company-wide year-end bonus program that rewards employees based on their annual performance evaluation and the organization’s success in the market place.
