| 04/23/10, - Gainesville, Florida (April 23, 2010)—Florida-based Jones Edmunds & Associates, Inc. has moved up 50 spots in the annual Engineering News-Record (ENR) Top 500 Design Firms ranking to No. 272.
This national ranking by ENR, one of engineering’s principal industry publications, is considered an annual performance benchmark for any engineering firm—publicly and privately held—doing business in the United States and is based on design-specific revenue.
“We appreciate the recognition of our success and are proud of our employees and their hard work that made this ranking possible,” Ken Vogel, Jones Edmunds’ Chief Marketing Officer, said. “Moving up 50 spots is quite an achievement considering the tough economic climate in Florida and across the country.”
As a group, the Top 500 had overall design revenue of $80.02 billion in 2009, which is down 11.7% from $90.85 billion in 2008. Domestically, Top 500 revenue dropped 13.1% from $68.14 billion in 2008 to $59.22 billion in 2009.
Jones Edmunds stays competitive and excels by providing top-notch client service, hiring and retaining the best talent, and offering a diverse breadth of technical and regulatory services, all of which resulted in this ENR ranking.
