Water Resources
Jones Edmunds is actively involved with the State's water management districts and keep current on state and federal regulations so we can identify trends in the fluid regulatory and environmental compliance field. Specially trained wetland, biological, soil, and geological scientists complement our water resources engineering staff, enabling Jones Edmunds to meet each project’s unique planning, design, and permitting requirements.
In-house GIS, GPS, and CADD capabilities give Jones Edmunds the tools to integrate GIS with our various water resources analyses and designs, including digitally developed hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and mapping. These tools address issues related to the unique hydrology of Florida, and the SWFWMD subsequently contracted with Jones Edmunds to make portions of this toolset the standard for modeling in their District. Our GIS services are integrally woven into our water resources and stormwater projects to provide accurate and efficient analyses and clear presentation of project data.
