We are excited to introduce our new Marketing Director, Kelly Flowers. Kelly will take on the responsibility of leading, evaluating, and developing marketing strategies; communicating marketing plans to those involved; building awareness of and positioning Jones Edmunds; and managing our Technical Communications group.
“We are fortunate to have this combination of talent and experience as Kelly joins us and has the opportunity to work closely with all of our Associates to grow and improve our firm,” says President and Chief Executive Officer Rick Ferreira.
Our high-functioning culture, hardworking people, and quality services attracted Kelly to Jones Edmunds. She brings 16 years of experience and joins us from UF Health Shands where she partnered with development, regional marketing, and communications departments to develop, execute, and measure robust marketing and business development plans. She developed and strengthened relationships with stakeholders to cultivate referral patterns of business and acted as an ambassador to ensure brand alignment – all things Kelly will continue doing in her new role with Jones Edmunds. She most looks forward to making a difference in the lives of others and providing unrivaled service to our associates and clients.
Kelly has an insatiable thirst for gaining and sharing knowledge, which is demonstrated by her multiple degrees, conference presentations, written publications, and teaching experiences. She holds a bachelor’s degree in speech communication and a master’s in speech communication earned from Michigan State University. From the University of Florida, she earned three additional master’s degrees – two in business administration (one with a concentration in international business) and one in health education and behavior and completed all coursework for her doctorate in mass communication and strategic campaign development. Lastly, she is pursuing a law degree from Florida State University and is the recipient of multiple awards, scholarships, and honors.
When Kelly is not obtaining another degree or crushing it at work, you can find her running, attending CrossFit classes, and spending time with family, which includes her two Bernedoodles – Howie and Bernie – who require tons of attention and exercise.
We can’t wait to see how her knowledge, skills, and positive attitude benefit our team and our clients.
Welcome aboard, Kelly!
